VITAL '99 is a global virtual event, designed to facilitate collaboration among interactive training and learning practitioners and educators from around the world, that takes place entirely online.

Attending VITAL '99 requires no travel! Registration for VITAL '99 provides you with the opportunity to interact with a diverse worldwide audience of your peers and some of the leading thought leaders and practitioners in the industry. Plus, the event archive will be available online for 6 weeks after the event ends, so you may review the event information at your own pace.

VITAL '99 is proud to announce an exciting lineup of keynote speakers who will provide their thoughts on interactive training and learning. This will be your chance to interact one-on-one with some of today's leading thinkers. Keynotes will begin at 12:00 Noon (EST) on the first day they are scheduled.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, make comments, and read background materials related to the keynote sessions. These interactive sessions will take place in a web-based computer conference environment.

These virtual learning sessions will be led by individual or panels of experts and facilitated to explore better processes for knowledge creation, sharing information and leveraging ideas. Engage in discussion on topics related to Web Based Training, Online Learning and more. These sessions will take place over the period of a week, providing ample opportunity for participants to join in.

Meet some of your favorite authors in an interactive dialogue and reflection of their works. Find out what interests them? Who are their favorite authors? What themes and practices have motivated and influenced their work? Guest authors will be featured throughout the event, stop by and take advantage of the opportunity to say hello and get to know one of your favorites!

Attendees of VITAL '99 will also have access to the following conference areas:

Virtual Cafe - The Cafe is a free-flowing place for informal dialogue designed to host the "conversation in the hallways" between sessions. Participants introduce themselves, find shared interestes, create small group sessions, post public notices, ask each other questions, etc.

Bookstore - Peruse the latest interactive training and learning titles right from the conference center. Read a great book that's not listed - let us know and we'll add it!

Reference Center - Browse a library of links with the latest resources available on the Web. Add your own links to the reference center so participants can keep abreast of your organizations and projects.
